Are classes online or in person?
Both. Sessions are available online from anywhere, and in person within our local service area. Let us know your preference when booking.
How long is each session?
Session length depends on the service, the student’s grade level, and their learning needs. Sharmin does not recommend classes longer than 60 minutes so students stay focused and engaged. Shorter sessions may be recommended for younger learners.
What hours are classes available?
Regular classes run 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Evening classes may be available on request. All classes must be booked in advance.
How much does tutoring cost?
Academic tutoring for Grades 1–8 ranges from $25 to $30 per hour. English exam preparation (IELTS, CELPIP, PTE Core) starts at $30 per hour. Reduced rates may be available on multi-session packages.
What happens during the initial consultation?
We discuss the learner’s goals, current challenges, preferred schedule, and recommended session length, then suggest a personalized plan and pricing.
Who should book for a student in Grades 1–8?
Booking and contact information for students in Grades 1–8 must be completed by a parent or guardian.
Which English test should I take: IELTS, CELPIP, or PTE Core?
It depends on your immigration or professional goals and which tests are accepted for them. During the consultation we can talk through the formats and help you choose a preparation plan that fits.
Do you offer package discounts?
Yes. Reduced rates may be available when multiple classes are booked and paid for together. Contact Sharmin for a personalized quote.
